Toyota Glanza Now Gets Safer With Six Airbags As Standard, Limited Time Prestige Accessory Package Launched

Toyota has updated the Toyota Glanza premium hatchback by offering six airbags as standard across its four variants: E, S, G, and V. Alongside this, the carmaker has also introduced a ‘Prestige Package’, which is essentially an accessory kit provided at no extra cost till July 31. Toyota recently offered a similar package for the Hyryder as well. That said, there are no changes to the car’s overall design, features, or powertrain.

Things Offered With This Package

The complementary accessory kit, termed the Prestige Package, includes a total of seven accessories, which are listed below:

• Door visors

• Body side moulding with chrome and black accents

• Rear lamp garnish

• Chrome garnishes for ORVMs and fenders

• Rear skid plate

• Illuminated door sills

• Lower grille garnish

Other Features & Safety

The Toyota Glanza packs in features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a heads-up display, auto AC with rear vents, a 6-speaker Arkamys-tuned sound system and cruise control.

On the safety front the Glanza now gets 6 airbags across all variants, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

Powertrain Options

The Glanza gets a petrol engine option as well a CNG option too. The specifications are as follows:

Price & Rivals

The Toyota Glanza is priced between Rs 6.90 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It goes up against rivals like the Tata Altroz, Maruti Baleno, and Hyundai i20 in the premium hatchback segment.
