New Honda Jazz launch speculated on August 18?
Honda India is zooming away with success since the time it came to the country. The current speculations from the Honda village suggest that Honda is all geared up to launch the facelift version of Honda Jazz on 18th August 2011. Earlier, Honda India surprised its consumers by offering a discount of Rs. 1.75 Lakh on the current version of Honda Jazz. It is possible that this heavy discount was given to clear the old stock and make way for the new and improved version of Honda Jazz. The hatchback failed to create magic in the Indian car market due to its high pricing, with the new Honda Jazz in the works, the company ponders to get huge response for its zippy new hatchback.

According to the grapevine, the new Honda Jazz will come with fresh taillight and headlight design accompanied with new front bumpers and black front grille. The interiors of the new Honda Jazz are also rumored to be extra comfortable and stylish. The dashboard will come with a darker hue along with air vents and climate control features. The buzz in the Indian Auto market also suggests that new Honda Jazz price could be lesser than the current Honda Jazz price.

The price of new Jazz should be between Rs. 5.25lac to 5.75lac with 1.2L engine if Honda wants to make it successful in India otherwise a very good product with die. The price reduction of Rs. 1.75Lac showed Jazz real price as Honda reduced its profit margin which is more even City & the entire stock sold out in three days flat.

I agree with Sharad... though Honda is a class apart... no way Jazz should exceed the 6 lac as a ex-showroom price, else all other small cars have diesel model with similar features and price range 6.0 lac (ex-showroom)
The Jazz is a nice car with great design, loads of space but expensive. If Honda there is a new jazz coming up for the Indian Consumers then it should come up with the Diesel Option too along with the competitive price tag in order to do wonders in the sales figures. Good Luck HONDA
