Maruti Baleno Hits Nexa Dealer Yards: Launch Due on October 26th
Maruti has commenced rolling in a batch of its premium Baleno hatchbacks in its Nexa dealership yards. The bookings for the car are open for an amount of Rs. 25,000.

Launch Update: Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been launched at a price of Rs 4.99 lacs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The car offers segment first Apple CarPlay, amongst other creature comforts. In terms of safety, the car features ABS with EBD and Dual-Front airbags as standard throughout all of its variants. Maruti’s highly anticipated and gravely underpowered premium hatchback offering has started hitting the NEXA dealership yards. The car will be launched on October 26th and bookings are open for the hatchback across the nation, at Maruti’s premium dealerships for a booking amount of Rs. 25000. The car will be sold alongside Maruti’s other premium offerings, which include, Ciaz and S-Cross. Like the Ciaz, the all-new Baleno will feature the mild-hybrid SHVS technology in its diesel variants, which will help the car achieve a fuel-efficiency of 27.39 kmpl. The other side of the coin also reflects the underside of this impressive hatchback, which is the under-powered diesel variant that stands at only 75PS of power output and a 1.2-liter K-Series petrol engine that comes with 84.3PS and 115 NM of torque.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno will come standard with ABS and EBD, dual front-airbags throughout all of its variants. The top-end variants, starting from Delta will also feature a Bluetooth-enabled music system, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, a rear wiper/washer, electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors.
On the exterior the car will feature innovative styling cues, which include a V-shaped chrome grill, partial floating roof and sturdy wheel arches. The front fenders hold the swept-back headlamp cluster housing projectors underlined by daytime running LEDs and circular fog lamps at the bottom making the car a looker. The car will rival the likes of Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz.
