Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Launch Tomorrow, Here’s All You Need To Know
While the engines will be carried forward from the Grand i10, a new AMT option for both petrol and diesel will be on offer with the Grand i10 Nios
Update: Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 Nios at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). The hatchback is available with both petrol and diesel engine options which are being offered with optional AMT gearbox as well as manual transmission options. Read more about it here.

Hyundai will be launching the Grand i10 Nios in India tomorrow. It is the successor to the second-gen Grand i10, which will continue to stay on sale.
The Grand i10 Nios will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines that do duty in the current Grand i10. What will be new is an AMT option for both engine options, apart from the regular manual transmission. It will be available in a total of 5 variants - Era, Magna, Sports, Sports Dual Tone, Asta.

Hyundai’s latest generation i10 features a premium design that comprises of Hyundai’s cascading grille and boomerang shaped LED DRLs. Inside, the design theme seems to be borrowed from Hyundai and Kia models, with elements such as the touchscreen being integrated in the instrument cluster and a new steering wheel that we have seen in latest Hyundai models. Production of the mid-size hatchback is already underway at Hyundai’s plant near Chennai.
Once launched, it will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo and the upcoming Renault Triber. It is expected to be priced in the Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh range.
