This was done in order to fulfill the wish of Nihal, who is suffering from a rare disease called progeria. During this, ASIMO greeted Nihal and his family and danced on the famous Indian song, “India wale...”. ASIMO has come to India after 6 years, on a special request to meet Nihal. Nihal was delighted upon meeting ASIMO and after his interaction, he said, “I am elated to have this lifetime opportunity to meet my favourite robot. It was amazing to have spent time with him for me and for my family. I would like to thank Honda for giving me these precious moments of my life. It was a dream come true”.

Mr. Katsushi Inoue, president and CEO, Honda Cars India, who was present at the event said, “We are extremely delighted to fulfill Nihal’s wish of meeting ASIMO. Seeing the joy on his face when he met ASIMO was worth the effort. The experience was as rewarding for us as it was for Nihal.”
