Mahindra Thar is still a distant dream for buyers, as its waiting period just doesn't seem to come down. Currently, it is over a year across multiple cities. So you book the off-roader today, and you might be left cooling your heels for the next one year till you finally manage to get into it.
The off-roader was launched back in October 2020, and still has a waiting timeline as high as this!

The Thar is currently available in hardtop and convertible variants only. The previous base-spec AX variant, which had a fixed soft top and side-facing seats, has been discontinued. That’s because its 4-star safety rating was applicable to the front-facing seats only.

The off-roader comes with 150PS 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 130PS 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

It currently retails from Rs 12.11 lakh to Rs 14.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
