The 2025 Tata Punch facelift has been spotted testing in Pune, giving us a closer look at its side and rear profile. While earlier spy shots had already revealed key exterior updates and interior changes, this time the spy shots hints us at newly designed taillights which could be connected LED units. Here’s everything we noticed:

What Was Spotted?

Although it is heavily camouflaged but one can find that at the back, the taillights look updated. It appears to be a connected panel with LED units unlike the familiar taillights seen in the previously spotted test mule. There are subtle tweaks to the rear bumper that are noticeable. The overall silhouette remains unchanged, but it will get new alloy wheels with the facelift.

We’ve previously spotted the Punch facelift when the test mule was seen from the front and inside as well. It revealed a Punch EV-inspired fascia with a new grille, LED DRLs, and a revised headlight housing. Inside, updates included a freestanding 10.25-inch touchscreen, Tata’s new 2-spoke illuminated steering wheel, and a fully digital driver’s display. The cabin could also get a touch-based climate control panel and even six airbags for safety.

Other Features and Safety

The Punch facelift would continue with some of the existing features like auto climate control, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a sunroof, height height-adjustable driver seat and a cooled glove box.

On the safety front, the Punch currently comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Powertrain

The Punch facelift is expected to retain its existing powertrain setup, the specification of which is as follows:

Engine

1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol

1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol with CNG

Power

88 PS

73.5 PS

103 Nm
