2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class leaked, details inside
It has been a while since the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been spotted testing, and now the first official images of the model have been posted on the interweb. The company recently teased the new generation C-Class, the W 205, which is expected to be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show. The company has already posted some of the images of the 2015 C-Class, showing its interiors.
Diariomotor has managed to get few of the images of the 2015 C-Class, which looks like a stripped down version of the S-Class. It also shows that the new vehicle will also be made available wearing AMG kit. The new C-Class will have a high-class ambiance, a new touchpad control surface and a lightweight bodyshell. It is based on the new MRA (Mercedes Rear wheel drive Architecture), and will be around 80kg lighter than the existing model. The same platform is also used to develop the 2014 S-Class. This platform has helped the company to offer improved rear seat comfort, larger trunk capacity and a lower kerb weight.
The new generation C-Class is expected to be made available with a range of engine options including a hybrid. It is also reported that the vehicle will also have 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The C-Class has been one of the company's top selling car in India, so we could expect it to come in India as well.
