    Tata Harrier EV customer deliveries commence

    The Tata Harrier EV is the most recent electric offering by the Indian carmaker in India that was launched in June. The premium Tata EV hit the showrooms a month later after its launch in July 2025. Now, deliveries of the Harrier EV have commenced across the country. Notably, the Harrier EV garnered over 10,000 bookings on the first day itself, hinting at the public interest for this new EV.     The Tata Harrier EV closely resembles the ICE-powered model with identical design elements like LED headlights, connected LED DRLs and connected LED tail lights. The difference lies in a blanked-off grille, 19-inch alloy wheels with aero covers, ‘.ev’ badges on the front doors and slightly redesigned front and rear bumpers with silver skid plates and vertical slats.

    The interior design is also similar to the diesel-powered Harrier, save for a white and grey theme that makes the cabin feel airy and upmarket. Other elements include a dual-screen setup on the dashboard, a 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and leatherette seat upholstery.

    In terms of features, the Harrier EV gets a large 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone auto AC with rear vents. It also gets a wireless phone charger, multi-colour ambient lighting, a 10-speaker JBL sound system and an electric boss mode for the front passenger seat.

    It sports a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating with features including seven airbags (six standard), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera with blind spot detection and a transparent mode, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a digital inside rearview mirror (IRVM) with integrated dashcam and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. It also gets Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with features such as driver attention warning and collision mitigation system.
