While the average waiting period for most cars is three months, the EVs can take over a year to arrive

Tata has 11 models in its lineup including both internal combustion engines (ICEs) and electric vehicles (EVs). It also has the biggest EV lineup in the country ranging from the most affordable Tiago EV to the fully loaded Nexon EV Max. Currently, the global supply shortages have affected many manufacturers including Tata, resulting in production delays.

  • Nexon: Nexon has an average waiting period of two to three months in most cities and the highest of four months in Thane.

  • Harrier: While the waiting period for the Harrier is two months in most cities, it can be taken home in just under one month in Delhi and Faridabad.

Tata Harrier

  • Tigor: Buyers in most cities listed above will have to wait for a maximum of two months to get the Tigor home.

  • Tiago: Tiago shares the same average waiting period with Tigor, but endures its highest wait time of over three months in Bengaluru. This data includes the waiting periods for Tiago NRG as well.

  • Tigor EV: Faridabad gets the maximum waiting period of one year for the Tigor EV, while in other cities, its average is three to four months.

Tata Tigor EV

  • Altroz: Buyers can take home the Altroz in just two months in most cities, but those in Faridabad might have to wait up to three months.

  • Nexon EV Prime: Its waiting period averages out at four months in most cities, but buyers have to wait for over a year in Faridabad, followed by Bengaluru (six months).

  • Safari: Safari’s buyers will have to wait for an average of two months in most cities, but the ones in Delhi can get it in under a month.

Tata Safari

  • Punch: The average waiting time for the Punch is two to three months. The lowest of one and a half months is in Delhi, while the maximum is of four months in Bengaluru.

  • Nexon EV Max: While most cities have an average wait time of three to four months, buyers in Faridabad could have to wait for more than a year for their Nexon EV Max to arrive.

  • Tiago EV: The newly launched Tiago EV carries an average waiting period of three months in most cities. Bengaluru gets the highest of over four months.
