Tata Nexon EV Max

Latest Update: Now the Nexon EV Max offers more driving range, and it also gets a new entry-level trim with revisions in prices across all variants.

Price: Prices for the Nexon EV Max now range from Rs 16.49 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: It can be had in three trims: XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. The top-spec XZ+ Lux trim can also be had in the Jet edition.

Seating Capacity: The Nexon EV Max comes in a five-seater layout.

Battery, Electric Motor and Range: It gets a 40.5kWh battery pack mated to an electric motor to produce 143PS and 250Nm. It now has an increased claimed ARAI range of 453km.

Charging: The electric SUV supports two charging options: 3.3kW and 7.2kW, with charging times of 15 hours and six hours, respectively. Also, by using a 50kW DC fast charger, the battery gets rejuvenated from 0-80 per cent in just 56 minutes.

Features: A seven-inch touchscreen entertainment system, single-pane sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, air purifier and a wireless phone charger are part of its features list. Other amenities include ventilated front seats and cruise control. 

Safety: On the safety front, it comes with all-wheel disc brakes, hill hold control, hill descent control, electronic parking brake and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Standard safety features include dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, cornering stability control and ABS with EBD. 

Rivals: It is a rival to the Mahindra XUV400, while being an affordable alternative to the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV.
