Volkswagen polo to be launched next year
Volkswagen, German auto manufacturer, is going to launch its Volkswagen Polo in the very first-half of the next year. The information was shared by Neeraj Garg, Member of the Board and Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars. He added that the sedan version would be unveiled by the end of the next year. Volkswagen Polo is under testing process. The hatchback would be available in petrol and diesel versions. The company is mulling over to launch the Beetle and Touareg in India soon.

Volkswagen intends to have 50 per cent localisation at start and would be increased. The German company has a 500-acre manufacturing facility, Rs 3,800 crore already invested, at Chakan near Pune with a annual capacity to produce 1,10,000 units. Currently, Volkswagen is selling Volkswagen Jetta and Volkswagen Passat. Soon, Skoda Yeti will be seen on Indian roads.
