  • The Camo edition is based on the mid-spec Adventure and Accomplished trims of the Punch.

  • It is priced at a premium of Rs 15,000 over the regular variants.

  • Exterior updates include ‘Camo’ badges and a new green shade with black and white roof options.

  • The Camo edition’s cabin features camouflaged seat upholstery and green trim bits.

  • Features on board include a seven-inch display and push-button start/stop.

  • Continues with the standard Punch’s 86PS, 1.2-litre petrol engine with both MT and AMT options.

Tata Motors has launched the Punch Camo edition, making it the second SUV after the Harrier to get the treatment. It’s based on the mid-spec Adventure and Accomplished trims and is being offered in a total of eight variants. Until now, the Kaziranga edition was the only special edition available with the Punch. Step inside and you will notice an all-black cabin with camouflaged seat upholstery and green trim bits on the dashboard and door pads. The Punch special edition features a seven-inch touchscreen system, cruise control, push-button start/stop, and a six-speaker music system. Compared to the top-spec Creative trim, the Camo edition misses out on features such as auto AC, rain-sensing wipers, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

Tata has equipped the Camo edition of the micro SUV with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine (86PS/113Nm) as its other variants. It comes paired with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT.

Although it doesn’t have any direct rivals, the special edition Punch takes on the likes of the Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV100 NXT, Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger. For reference, the regular variants of the Punch are priced from Rs 5.93 lakh to Rs 9.49 lakh.
