Tata Motors plans to open standalone outlets for Nano

Tata motors are all set to open new exclusive showrooms for its extraordinary machine Tata Nano. The new showrooms are targeted to be opened in smaller towns of India. Tata’s mini truck Ace made a good hit in the small truck segment. The Tata Ace is sold through the 600 stores across the country. Tata’s spokesperson disclosed about appointing new dealerships for Tata Nano in smaller towns of the country. However, nothing more was cleared about the dealers or the total number of stores across India. The idea behind this initiative is to take the small car closer to the customers and the Indian auto company has got success with this particular idea through its mini truck Tata Ace. The Tata Ace was made available to the customers through the dedicated outlets all over the country in addition to the company commercial showrooms.

At the present time, Tata is having 600 Tata Ace exclusive showrooms all over the country. Tata Nano is also available in total 617 regular outlets across the country. In addition to this, the customers can also gain the experience of the Nano through the 210 access points that are scattered all over the country. Tata Motors has also started selling out the new Tata Nano in Big Bazaar outlets. Now the customers can easily purchase the car from Big Bazaar through out the country.

After the fire accidents that took place in Tata Nano, the company told the customers to bring their car and get it integrated with better safety options without any cost. This particular step of the company lead to better selling of the car in last 3 months. Tata Nano has experienced a sale of 8707 units in the month of March, 2011. Tata Motors will be able to produce 20,000 units per month in the Sanand plant.
