In the last decade, Tata has introduced various new nameplates, including the likes of the Tata Harrier, Tata Punch, and more recently, the Tata Curvv. All new Tata offerings have instantly taken a liking among car buyers, so much so that they are witnessing huge wait times every month. If you are on the lookout for a new Tata car in August 2025, here’s a detailed table showing their waiting period in top 20 Indian cities:

Of all the cars on this list, it’s the Tata Punch that has the highest wait time of up to three months in Lucknow. That said, it is available the soonest in Hyderabad as seen with its bigger SUV siblings.

The duo of the Tata Tiago and Tata Tiago NRG can be had in around a month or one and half month’s time in most top cities. Their minimum and maximum wait times range between two weeks and two months, respectively.

Another hatchback on the list, the Tata Altroz, is also enduring an average waiting period of around a month. However, buyers located in Coimbatore will have to wait for up to two months to get the premium hatchback home.

The Tata Tigor, which is the only sedan here, is experiencing a wait time of around a month in most Indian cities. It’s available the soonest (in about two weeks) in Lucknow, Thane and Surat, while commanding the maximum wait time of up to one and half months in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Indore.
