A new mid-spec SX Plus variant has been introduced in the Hyundai Verna’s lineup. This variant sits between the SX and SX(O) trims and is offered with both manual and CVT options. The introduction of this variant makes amenities like ventilated and heated front seats, leatherette seat upholstery and an 8-speaker Bose sound system more accessible by over Rs 1 lakh. . Along with this, Hyundai is now offering a wired to wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay adapter as a complimentary accessory with models like the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, Exter, Venue (including N Line) and Verna. This will make it convenient for the users to use functions on their infotainemnt system without the usage of wires.

What’s New
The Hyundai Verna SX Plus is the most affordable variant to get heated and ventilated front seats, 8-speaker Bose sound system and a leatherette seat upholstery, all of which is missing from the previous SX trim.


The new SX Plus variant also gets everything from the SX trim as it sits above it. Hence, it packs in LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs and LED tail lights. Inside, it gets a dual-tone black and beige theme, leatherette wrapped steering wheel and gear lever.
Other amenities onboard the new variant include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, a single-pane sunroof, auto AC with rear vents, wireless phone charger, cooled glovebox, ambient lighting and cruise control.
Its safety suite includes 6 airbags, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, an electronic parking brake and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
