After being displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and at the Tata EV day event in Pune, Tata Motors has finally launched the Harrier EV with prices starting from Rs 21.49 lakh (introductory ex-showroom, pan-India). Bookings of the eSUV begin on July 02, 2025. It gets a dual-motor setup with all-wheel-drive (AWD) capabilities, making it the only model in the carmaker’s lineup to provide such a drivetrain option. It is available in 3 broad personas: Adventure, Fearless and Empowered. There is also a Stealth Edition with a matte black hue on offer.
Exterior
The overall design silhouette of the Tata Harrier EV is similar to the combustion-powered Harrier with slight changes to make it stand out. While it gets the same connected LED headlights and LED headlights as the ICE-powered SUV, the EV features a blanked-off grille and silver vertical slats on the front bumper. It also gets a faux silver skid plate to underline its ruggedness.

In profile, it gets redesigned 19-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic covers and “.ev” badges on the front doors. Other than this, everything else is the same including black outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) and a rugged black cladding on the doors and wheel arches.
The rear design is also similar to the regular Harrier with elements such as connected LED tail lights, a roof-mounted spoiler and a rear wiper and washer. The only difference is the rear skid plate design which gets vertical slats like the front.
The Tata Harrier EV is also available in a 'Stealth Mode' avatar, which has matte black exterior and interior shade that makes the e-SUV look striking.
Tata Motors offers the 2025 Harrier EV with 5 colour options:
- Stealth Black (exclusive to the Stealth Edition)
- Nainital Nocturne (exclusive to the Empowered variants)
- Empowered Oxide (exclusive to the Empowered variants)
- Pure Grey
- Pristine White
The Harrier EV offers a boot space of 502 litres and it also gets a frunk (storage space underneath the bonnet) which is 67 litres with the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version and 37 litres with the AWD option.
Interior
Like the exterior, the interior layout of the Tata Harrier EV is also similar to its ICE-powered counterpart. However, the EV gets a new white and grey cabin theme which is similar to the smaller Curvv EV and Nexon EV.
Other than this, it gets the same 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. However, the infotainment system has been updated to a larger 14.5-inch touchscreen and boasts a QLED display from Samsung which supports Dolby Atmos surround sound system.
The centre console features a drive selector stalk, twin cupholders, buttons for the electronic parking brake, a rotary selector to choose from 6 different terrain modes (including Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass, and a Custom mode) and centre armrest.
The seats get a grey and white leatherette upholstery that looks premium and gives an upmarket feel to the EV.
