Hyundai India has introduced new variants in the Hyundai Alcazar, making some features more accessible to buyers. First up, the diesel engine now gets a new Corporate variant and finally gets the panoramic sunroof, which was limited to the turbo-petrol engine. The one-above-base Prestige variant with the turbo-petrol engine also sees the introduction of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Before we get an in-depth look at what these variants come packing with, let’s take a look at the prices. Do note that the new Corporate variant is placed above the Prestige variant in the lineup.

Meanwhile, the introduction of the DCT in this variant has made this powertrain more accessible by Rs 2.31 lakh. It was earlier offered from the Platinum variant, which costs Rs 20.95 lakh.
Hyundai Alcazar: What Do These Variants Get?
One of the gripes we had with the Alcazar was that the panoramic sunroof was limited to the turbo-petrol variants. Now, Hyundai has fixed that with the Corporate variant, which finally gets this much-loved feature with the diesel engine.
Other feature highlights in both the Corporate and Prestige DCT include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (using an adaptor), dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting and keyless entry with push button start. It also comes with LED headlights, dynamic turn indicators and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and electronic stability control.

Full prices of the Hyundai Alcazar range between Rs 14.99 lakh and Rs 21.74 lakh (ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700. Its pricing also puts it as an SUV alternative to the Kia Carens Clavis.
