New Fiat Grande Punto to be launched in July
A line of cars ready to be rolled out from the factory and see the light of the world is what seems to be the case this month. Auto biggies are ready to flaunt their toys to the car buyers drooling for more with every car that comes out in the market. The cars that are ready to be launched in the month of July include upgraded versions of Maruti SX4 and Fiat Punto and new models such as Nissan Micra. Small car Fiat Punto which was launched in India last year is now being relaunched with upgradations owing to the sloppy sales it witnessed the same period. Fiat Punto will bring its 90 bhp Fiat Grande Punto diesel version this month, i.e July.

The car will probably be named as Grande Punto Sports. The power in the Fiat Grande Punto has been increased owing to an addition of a a VGT to the 1.3-liter common-rail diesel engine. The new Fiat Punto will boast features like sporty upholstery, electric sunroof, sport red decals,a rear spoiler, blacked out headlamps, dual color interior leather seats and lastly bigger tyres.
The company claims the new Fiat Grande Punto to be the most powerful diesel hatchback in India. Industry experts predict that the new model will give a tough competition to the new Hyundai i20. As for the price of Fiat Grande Punto, the new model would tentatively be priced more than the company's top end models like Emotion Pack and Emotion.
