New Audi A8 L on its way to India by fall of 2010

Audi A8 L, a long-wheel-base luxury sensation from German luxury car giant, is expected to mark its debut in the Indian market by the fall of year 2010. The new A8 L model will be rolled-out in the Indian market with five engine options including a powerful twelve-cylinder with 368 kW ,500 hp power train. The car will be brought to India as a CBU (completely built unit) from the company's domestic production
facilities.

Besides the most powerful twelve-cylinder with 368 kW (500 hp) engine, the other available engine options will include two three-liter V6 units (a TDI with 184 kW ,250 hp and a TFSI producing 213 kW, 290 hp), two 4.2L V8 engines (including a 258 kW, 350 hp TDI and a 273 kW, 372 hp FSI engine). With this, a eight-speed tiptronic transmission ensures a high fuel efficiency and a very high overall gear ratio. Thenew model has been featured with a standard Quattro all-wheel drive
which enhances the overall performance of the car.

The wheel base of the car has been stretched to 5.27 meters (17.29 ft), which is about 13 centimeters more than the standard version of the wheel base. With this, the company is offering an optional power-adjustable and heated individual seats in the car along with an optional center console with large storage compartments. What makes these seats even more comfortable is an optional ventilation and massage function.

Moreover, the car is featured with an array of multi-media attractions including a high-end sound system from Bang & Olufsen and advanced online services. With this, the car also features a UMTS module that ensures a high-speed Internet connectivity. The company is also providing a four-zone automatic climate control system in the car which keeps the inside climate of the car constantly comfortable and unaffected by the change in the weather outside.
