    Maybach Discontinued

Maybach, a name that stands as a definition of luxury has come to an end. Though from a business perspective the brand might not have been performing well and there might be n-number of other reasons as well but as a brand with offerings based on Wilhelm Maybach’s philosophy of “to create the very best from the very best”, the end of Maybach is a great loss. Some say that this is a result of poor marketing of the Maybach and some say because the models were priced too high.

There wasn’t any official press release that made its way out of the Daimler Group but a price list which had “Discontinued” written in front of all Maybach models under the price column. There will be a discounted rate for the stock that’s left for sale. The Maybach was brought back by the Mercedes parent group Daimler to compete with Rolls Royce and the likes. However, Maybach failed to achieve any results for the group in comparison to its rivals.

Maybach made its debut in India in the year 2006 and in 2011 came in the Maybach 57 S & Maybach 62. The launch in 2011 marked the celebration of 125 years since the invention of the first automobile by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler.

Maybach's super luxury cars will be replaced by the models with the Mercedes Batch. The world auto industry is now waiting for the ultimate version of cars like Mercedes S600 Pullman and other S-Class luxury models that are lined up.
