Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Launch Delayed
Maruti Suzuki’s Manser plant which has just inspected a violent clash between its workers and union has compelled the company to re-schedule some of its plans which were on priority. And the biggest of them is the New 800 cc small car, which was planned to be coming During Diwali.

Speaking on the same, Maruti Suzuki India’s MD, Shinzo Nakanishi said "Yes, we have to reschedule the launch of the 800 cc car because of the violence at Manesar plant," , although he has also said that if things get better on time, the launch might happen on time as well. The next 800 cc car about which the company is talking is none another than the Alto 800, whose pictures were revealed by CarDekho sometime back. The coming Alto 800 has been said to replacing the company’s bread and butter car, the M800.
Maruti Suzuki 800 had to quit from several cities where BS IV emission norms were pertinent, the same will happen in the other cities as well, so the MSI needed one such product, which could replace the M 800 smartly, and the Alto 800 is the option, the company is willing to bet on. As per the information available around, the production of the Alto 800 was planned up to start at the same facility within a month or two, but the recent incident has forced the company to postponed most of its plans. Moreover there might be an impact on the production of other vehicles as well including the Alto, Existing M800, Estilo, A-Star and Omni.
