The company created a naive segment called LUV-life utility vehicle for Ertiga. Maruti has also shot a panache TVC for Ertiga and has started dispatching the car to pan India dealers. Maruti started dispatching the car in the latter half of March and has dispatched near about 1117 units of Ertiga until now. Maruti Ertiga MPV will be rolled out in six trims, three each for Diesel and Petrol and are christened same as Swift Dzire sedan from Maruti’s stable.

The petrol variants will be called Maruti Ertiga LXi, Maruti Ertiga VXi and Maruti Ertiga ZXi with Maruti Ertiga LDi, Maruti Ertiga VDi, Maruti Ertiga ZDi, the diesel trims. Both the diesel and the petrol variants will be mated with 5-speed manual gearbox.
