Hyundai, the 5th largest vehicle brand in Australia has completed a milestone by delivering their One Millionth new car. The ix35, which is more popularly known as Tuscon in North America became the 1-millionth unit to move out of the same dealership that sold the first new Hyundai around 26 years ago in Australia.

The ix35, which is more popularly known as Tuscon in North America became the 1-millionth unit to move out of the same dealership that sold the first new Hyundai around 26 years ago in Australia.
Hyundai recorded a sale of 87,008 units last year which is nearly the 8.6% of the market share. i30 is the best selling model in Australia and the i30 compact sold nearly 28,869 units last year.
Commenting on the occasion of accomplishing the milestone, Oliver Mann, Hyundai’s MD said that while Hyundai took 18 years to reach the 500,000 unit sales mark whereas the next half million were sold within 8 years. This achievement has a lot to do with the products and the establishment. The company is delighted at the achievement.
