It will also appeal to buyers who have high monthly usage and are looking for lower running costs. Performance of both the naturally aspirated petrol and CNG options are almost similar for both premium hatchbacks. However, the Altroz’ petrol engine packs in a more sophisticated automatic gearbox compared to the AMT unit of the Glanza.
Flush-type Door Handles
With the 2025 facelift, Tata has brought flush-type door handles to the Altroz hatchback, which is a feature that is seen in more premium cars like the Tata Curvv and Mahindra XUV700. Notably, it is the only hatchback in its segment to get such an amenity and they are illuminated, making it look premium. The Toyota Glanza on the other hand, gets conventional pull-type handles.
Single-pane Sunroof
The 2025 Tata Altroz also offers a single-pane sunroof which can also be operated by voice commands. This amenity is being offered from the one-above-base Pure variant as an optional feature, whereas it is offered as a standard fitment from the one-below-top Accomplished S trim.

Connected LED Tail Lights
Most modern-day cars come with futuristic looking LED tail lights that are joined by a LED light bar, and the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift follows this trend. While all variants of the premium hatchback come with LED tail lights, the connecting LED light bar is being offered from the higher-end Accomplished S variant.
Fully Digital Driver’s Display
While the Toyota Glanza comes with analogue dials and a coloured multi-information display (MID) that looks elegant, the 2025 Altroz goes a step further and offers a 10.25-inch fully-digital driver’s display that makes its cabin look and feel modern. Moreover, the driver’s display can display maps on it, adding to user convenience. Not only that, it will also show the feed of the blind view monitor, which relays the feed from the cameras mounted on the ORVM.
Bigger Infotainment System
The facelifted Altroz not only comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, but it also gets a similar-sized touchscreen. This feature is available from the mid-spec Creative trim and the lower variants get a smaller 7-inch unit. In contrast, the Glanza gets a smaller 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system in its higher variants.
Six Airbags (As Standard)
Although the Toyota Glanza is offered with 6 airbags, it is reserved to only the higher-spec G and V variants. The lower variants get only 2 airbags for the front passengers. In contrast, the 2025 Altroz comes with 6 airbags as standard right from its base-spec Smart trim.
Wireless Phone Charger
A wireless phone charger has become one of the most essential convenience features as it reduces the clutter that physical cables make while charging your phone. The Tata Altroz facelift is equipped with this amenity from the higher-spec Accomplished S trim. In comparison, the Glanza comes with USB charging ports and a 12V socket to charge the phones, which are also available in the Altroz.
Ambient Lighting
A lot of the premiumness of the facelifted Tata Altroz’ cabin comes because of the new beige theme in the cabin and seats. It also goes a step ahead by getting a multi-colour ambient lighting that is offered from the mid-spec Creative trim of the premium hatchback. In comparison, the Glanza gets footwell lighting for the front passengers only.
Air Purifier
With rising pollution levels in India, an air purifier is one of the most essential amenities that is required in any car. The 2025 Altroz gets this amenity in the fully-loaded Accomplished Plus S variant.
