Fiat to launch two new variants of Grande Punto in India

Fiat India, a subsidiary of Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat, is all set to launch two new variants of its premium hatch back Fiat Grande Punto in India. Company will be holding the ceremony on 15th of this month to launch these new variants here. Both new Dynamic and new Emotion variants will be launched as the base petrol versions with 1.2L fire engine. Though company hasn't disclosed any details regarding the pricing and the specifications of these new variants but it is expected that both of the models will be launched in the price range of Rs 4.5lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

Fiat India launched the Fiat Grande Punto last year in the compact hatchback segment in the price range of Rs 4,19,554 to Rs 6,30,594. At present the Fiat Grande Punto model is available in 8 variants among which 4 are diesel variants and 4 are petrol variants. Currently the Fiat Grande Punto model is competing with popular models like Maruti Ritz, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and recently launched Volkswagen Polo. With the launch of these new models company will be able to provide more options to the buyers of Fiat Grande Punto in India.
