Chevrolet to Sponsor Liverpool Football Team

Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC -two teams at the opposing end of a football field; this has always been the case. The one thing they have in common however is that both clubs run on money as does everything else. And now the next thing they will have in common is their official sponsor. That’s right; the official sponsor for Manchester United has offered the same relationship to Liverpool which they have accepted.

The agreement makes Chevrolet the official sponsor of Liverpool FC and will last 4 years. Chevrolet’s partnership with Liverpool will carry on till the end 2015/16 Barclays Premier League and other European campaigns. The partnership agreement also includes Liverpool’s printing and digital publications for their fan base, player appearances for commercials and marketing promotions for the club at Anfield which is the clubs official home ground.

Chevrolet is also said to be sponsoring Liverpool’s Pre Season Tour. Commenting on the association, Chris Perry, Global Chevrolet Marketing Vice President said that the relationship with Liverpool FC extends further than just being their sponsors but this association will be about engaging with supporters. He further added that everything will be done keeping the supporters at the center. Chevrolet in India just brought in the facelift of the Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Captiva. The upcoming models from Chevrolet are the MPV Enjoy, Chevrolet Sail hatchback and sedan and probably a facelift of the Chevrolet Beat.
