Tata Motors launched the 2025 Altroz facelift with updated styling inside out, and some new features. But how many of these updates make it to the Pure variant, which sits just above the base Smart trim? If you are considering this one-above-base variant, we have got you covered. Front

The front profile of the Altroz Pure variant showcases refreshed styling elements like the new grille and black accents on the bumper, giving it a bold appearance. Over the base variant, it receives upgrades such as LED headlamps with auto headlamp function. It misses out on LED DRLs and fog lamps for which you have to upgrade to the higher-spec variants.

Side

From the side, what enhances the overall look of the Altroz Pure variant is its stylised wheel covers whereas the base model gets half wheel covers. It also appears more upmarket thanks to touches like the flush-type front door handles. Apart from these additions, the Pure variant largely carries forward the same side profile design as the base Smart variant.

Rear

At the rear, the Altroz Pure variant gets blacked-out bumpers that elevate its muscular appearance, while the LED tail lamps connected by a reflector strip add to its refined design. It misses out on the rear wiper and washer but does get a rear defogger.

Interior

Inside, the welcome change in the Pure variant is the dual-tone black and beige cabin theme, which elevates the overall ambiance. It also features an infotainment system, touch-sensitive climate controls, and includes an illuminated steering wheel, a new addition in the Altroz facelift. 

With the Pure variant, rear seat occupants still do not get AC vents, and armrests are missing for both the front and rear rows. Being the one above the base variant, it includes fabric seat upholstery that’s finished in a black hue with light orange contrasting elements. To enhance the cabin experience, the Pure variant is equipped with a 4-speaker sound system.

Features & Safety

Apart from the sound system, the Pure variant comes equipped with features such as a 7-inch infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 4-inch MID, cruise control, automatic AC, and auto-folding ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors). Features like power windows, drive modes, and remote keyless entry have been carried over from the base variant.

Safety-wise, the primary addition is a reverse parking camera, while equipment such as six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, and rear parking sensors have been retained.

Engine Options

The 2025 Altroz Pure variant is available with three engine options, including a 1.5-litre diesel powertrain. Detailed specifications and gearbox options are provided in the table below.

 If you upgrade to higher-spec variants, you also get the option of a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with the petrol powertrain.
