    The Skoda Kylaq was launched in December 2024, marking the Czech carmaker’s debut in the sub-4m SUV segment. It comes with a single 1-litre turbo-petrol engine option with both manual and automatic transmission choices. We had an opportunity to put its manual variant through the paces and test its performance in real-world driving conditions.     The Skoda Kylaq recently received a price update and is now priced between Rs 8.25 lakh and Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with other subcompact SUVs like Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Renault Kiger. It can also be considered as an alternative to crossovers like the Toyota Taisor and Maruti Fronx.
