Audi fast catching up BMW and Mercedes Benz in car sales in India
German Auto makers BMW and Mercedes are having a very tough competition between them. Both the companies are trying to stay a step forward from one another. The two are also regularly trying to have new marketing strategies to increase the sales of their cars. But now one more company is coming up to join this battle, Audi. The sales figures of Audi India till last month have reduced the large difference that it was having earlier from BMW India and Mercedes India.

As according to the reports we can see till the month of May, BMW sold 3,634 cars, Mercedes was not much behind as it was having sales figure of 3,233. Audi India has also reduced the difference by selling 2,394 cars by the end of May 2011, this is much better than 3,003 cars which the company sold in the year 2010.

If we give a look to the sales figure of the cars sold in the month of June, BMW was able to sell 890 cars whereas Mercedes was able to sell only 565 and Audi only 408 cars in the market. BMW is already a step ahead from Audi And Mercedes, and with the launch of its new 1 series car, it might be possible that it becomes more difficult for Audi and Mercedes to beat BMW.

This new BMW 1 Series is the a hatchback (codenamed- F20). The car is proposed to be launch in the international market by the end of September this year and in the second half of 2012 in India. As we know that the small car segment in the country is always at the top and with the launch of this small car in the market, the company will surely increase it sales figure at a good rate. Audi is also about to launch the new Audi A6 by the end of this month. Audi with the launch of this new car might reduce the difference to a much more extent and make it negligible. With the launch of this new car Audi might also give a proper competition to the other two.
