Audi A8, BMW 5 Series and Nissan Leaf to fight for World Car of the Year
The time has come when the years most awaited award, World car of the year award is to be announced. The three big names which have managed a position in top three are, Audi A8, BMW 5 Series and Nissan Leaf. These three stunning models will fight for the gracious award. On the other hand competent names for World Performance Car award are Ferrari 458 Italia, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and Porsche 911 Turbo. The high performance models are selected by the jury out of all the cars which were launched during the year by manufacturers all over the world.

The awards are made to honor the work of those who were able to bring revolutionary technology all over the globe in past one year. This is the seventh year when The World Car of the Year awards is being declared by the jury members. They have finally selected three names which will fight for the final round, these names were selected from 39 new vehicles which were launched last year all over the world. The entire process takes three rounds out of which two are already done and finalists are declared for various categories. On the desk we again have a major war between the German luxury and Japanese prudence.
Audi A8, BMW 5 Series and the Nissan Leaf electric car are selected as the final contenders to fight for the big award. This time the interesting fact is that first time in history of this award, an electric car has made its way to finals. All the three models have bagged many global accolades in different segments.
Among the other award, major contestants include the Ferrari 458 Italia, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the Porsche 911 Turbo which will fight for ‘World Performance Car’ title.
