Ertiga will receive a subtle nip-&-tuck treatment, addition of variants on cards!

    Expected Add-ons?

As Ertiga is based on Swift/Dzire’s platform and shares same interiors too, expect the facelift coming with Swift-like changes. Starting with the exterior, the spied images reveals the new grille and subtle changes to front bumper. Rear profile would remain the same. On the inside, Ertiga will certainly get push-button engine start-stop, power foldable ORVMs, Bluetooth enabled music system and new set of upholstery. Since Ertiga’s arch rivals Mobilio and Innova offers touch screen infotainment system, Maruti could borrow Ciaz’s ‘SmartPlay’ 7-inch touch unit in the updated MPV. Also the spied car was seen riding on a new five-twin-spoke alloys.

Mechanically, the 2015 Ertiga facelift will be powered by the same 1.4-liter K-series naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.3-liter Fiat sourced dubbed as - DDiS200 turbo diesel mill. Currently, the engines are mated to five-speed manual unit and will remain as it is in the upcoming facelift. Moreover, looking at the current trend by the automaker of getting a new efficiency tag for its facelifted models, expect the 2015 Ertiga to come with bettered fuel efficiency.
