Like the Abarth Punto, Linea 125 S becomes the most powerful sedan in its class!

Fiat India is on a spree to launch performance-oriented offerings within the country. The new addition to its go-fast range is 2016 Linea 125 S. The Italian automaker will launch the upgraded Linea 125 S around mid-2016. The prices are expected to be little higher than the top-spec Linea petrol. Having said this, Fiat is expected to price it relatively competitive, like it did with the Abarth Punto. However, unlike Abarth Punto, It will be sold under the Fiat brand. It continues to compete with the midsize sedan segment, but except VW Vento TSi, as none of the cars offer turbocharged petrol motor.

The highlight of the new Linea 125 S is the upgraded 1.4-litre T-JET motors. The stock Linea petrol with the same engine muster 114 horses, while the sportier 125 S version offers, as you must have already guessed, 125 horses (125PS @ 5,000rpm). The max torque has also slightly been upgraded to 210 Nm and is extracted in between the engine speed of 2200rpm. The engine is coupled to a 5-Speed manual gearbox.

Fiat has also spruced up the looks of this go-fast sedan to match up with its performance. The show car features a flashy blue paint job along with glossy black treatment on the front and rear bumpers instead of chrome. It comes with same interiors as of the stock Linea, however, it offers a new touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
