Updated Toyota Etios Spotted (Video); Launching Soon?
CarDekho has been constantly updating you about the 2013 Toyota Etios Facelift, which is soon going to be rolled out in India. On February 7, 2013, we reported you about Toyota's plans of launching an even more powerful and Sportier version of the Etios Liva with some major modifications, now our friends at Gearheads caught the Etios Facelift and shot a close video of the same, further assuring the launch.
The video clearly shows that the new Etios Liva Hatchback has received some major changes inside the cabin. The company has used better quality fabric to give a much premium feel to the dashboard, switchgear and the door panels. The dashboard now gets beige finish, adjustable headrest, new seat fabric and a bluetooth supportive music system, making the vehicle better than before in terms of interior feel.
In our last story, we told you that the Japanese car maker is planning a 1500cc petrol engine powered version of the car in India, but we aren't still sure that the caught car is the same model or not. So, there is also a possibility that Toyota might position the 1500cc petrol engined powered version as the top-of-the line variant in the range and update the entire range with new interiors. The other major changes might be re-tuned suspension, improved brakes and wider wheels to complement the additional power.
Toyota which is known for quality benchmarks globally, has been facing very strong criticism for not-so-good interiors of Toyota Etios, so the facelifted version is being developed keeping all those issues in mind.
