Toyota will introduce the hybrid version of the Camry in the coming month and it is getting ready to introduce the all-new Corolla Altis next year. The Altis has been the best seller in its segment, until recently it got some stiff competition from the new Hyundai Elantra. The Corolla has been the best seller in that segment for years, and only the Civic came close to displacing it from its throne. However, with the new Corolla Altis things could change once again for the Toyota brand in the D segment.

Commenting on the sales in June 2013, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Marketing and Commercial said “Market continues to be sluggish and it seems that we are heading for tougher times in view of the current market outlook.”
