Toyota launched Innova CNG in India

The leading auto manufacturer, Toyota launched Innova CNG in India. Toyota Innova CNG is the first CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) powered, energy efficient multipurpose vehicle in India that is available in all petrol grades of Toyota Innova. Toyota Innova CNG is the dual fuel vehicle that will use CNG as an alternate fuel. Toyota Innova, the most popular multipurpose vehicle in India since its launch in 2005, will now comes with more economical and environment friendly driving option.

Toyota Innova CNG offers about 50% saving over diesel in running costs and reduced maintenance costs. Innova CNG will be priced at around more than Rs 85000 than the petrol Innova.

Announcing the launch of Innova CNG in India, Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director, TKM, said “Toyota is an environment conscious company and is committed to the cause of nurturing and protecting nature in its myriad forms. With CNG Innova having established itself as an environment friendly, reliable and economic fuel, TKM is pleased to announce India’s first ever energy efficient MPV in India.”

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has tied up with the leading CNG kit supplier Minda Auto Gas Ltd to supply the CNG kits for CNG Innova. The sophisticated CNG kit is not only safe, its advanced Lambda control system ensures the Euro III emission norms.
