Toyota Corolla Altis Festive Edition Launched

Toyota India that introduced the new Corolla Altis Aero in June this year, has today launched the festive edition of the same to mark the 10th Anniversary of the car in India. The limited edition versions (both petrol and diesel ) are given a bunch of additional features, however it would cost Rs 40,000 to 80,000 additionally. The all new limited edition is available in Corolla J, the base variant as well.

Where at the outside, the festive edition Corolla Altis additionally gets a new front grille, revamped tail-lights, Limited edition badge at the rear. It also gets beige interior, four-spoke steering wheel, 5.8 inches touchscreen DVD system, driver and passenger airbags and a new keyless entry, helping it become a more feature-rich car than before.

The limited edition Altis has been made available in both petrol and diesel variants at a starting price of Rs 11.45 lakh and 12,84 lakh respectively (prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai).

Toyota that has recently launched the Limited edition Toyota Innova Aero, Etios TRD Sportivo and Etios Liva TRD Sportivo, is now all set to launch the limited edition of its popular premium SUV, the Fortuner as well soon.

And like Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director- Marketing, TKML had previously mentioned that the limited editions of existing models are brought to create new excitement for their vehicle in the market, as the company doesn't have any new models to launch in the next one year.

So these launches would certainly help the company do well during the festive season. However the company is working on the new generation Corolla that is likely to be launched in 2014 globally.
