Special Edition ForTwo to Mark Mercedes-Benz Smart and Brabus 10th Anniversary
This week seems to be the ‘Tuning Week’; no pun intended. We reported about a lot of tuned vehicles and their creators. Another one adding to the list this week is from the Mercedes-Benz subsidiary Smart and the German tuning firm Brabus who joined hands way back in 2002.

This week seems to be the ‘Tuning Week’; pun intended. We reported about a lot of tuned vehicles and their creators. Another one adding to the list this week is from the Mercedes-Benz subsidiary Smart and the German tuning firm Brabus who joined hands way back in 2002.
The two German companies have developed a line of sporty vehicles like the Brabus Coupe and Cabrio models. They together have customized more than 50,000 vehicles in the last decade. Celebrating the milestone year for both the companies, they will bring forth a special edition version of the ForTwo which will be based on the current Smart Brabus, which will be limited to 100 units. This new model will be powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that will be capable of producing 101bhp of power. The acceleration that the car will provide will be 0-100kms in 8.9 seconds.
The additional features will be the tridon safety cell and painted in liquid silver will be the front grille, door mirror and other bodypanels. The front will also have the titanium-coloured headlamps and as for the red Brabus logo, it will be seen at the rear as well. The cabin of the 10th anniversary edition will be characterized by black leather. Along with these, there would be the standard features like the comfort light packaging, heated seats, electric power steering, LED daytime driving lights etc. These along with many other features are sure to create a masterpiece that will mark the milestone year for the partnership.
Mercedes-Benz has been in news lately with the B-Class, which was unveiled at the Budh Circuit this week. The launch is awaited eagerly.
