Skoda India definitely wants to stay ahead of the competition which is why company is planning to launch the new version of its most successful car Skoda Fabia i.e. Skoda Fabia Scout. As per our reliable sources, the Czech automobile giant and Volkswagen group’s subsidiary Skoda Auto wants to move ahead after the success of Skoda Fabia in India. And for the same purpose the technical team of the company was found testing the new Skoda Fabia Scout.
Currently Skoda Auto India has four models running on Indian roads namely, Skoda Fabia, Skoda Laura, Skoda Yeti and Skoda Superb with Skoda Fabia being a great success. And after the addition of Skoda Fabia Scout, the market share of Skoda is expected to increase with good numbers.
Furthermore, he said that the Skoda Fabia Scout was tested outside Pune by the team. The Skoda Fabia Scout which was seen had good ground clearance and the lower part of the car had a unique plastic trim. The car was more appearing as an off-roader.
According to the undisclosed sources, the Fabia Scout appears as a small big car and the hatchback offers the looks of mini SUV. As per speculations Skoda Fabia Scout will be available with some minor changes in interiors and performance. However, with Indian market already driving the Skoda India 1.2 liter TDI diesel engine, it might be possible that company wil release the new Skoda Fabia Scout with a 1.6 TDI diesel engine.
