Skoda Ensures Customers Safety with If you Drink, We Drive Campaign
As the drink and driving cases in India is surging, the auto industry has taken initiatives to spread awareness about safe driving by running various media campaigns. Skoda, the Czech auto major has recently introduced its latest step to avoid drink-drive mishaps, the campaign is called ,’If you drink, We Drive”. The concept is very clear from the words that the company is going to provide the owners of Skoda cars with a chauffeur service, if they are going to a cocktail party in their Skoda cars.
Skoda India’s Marketing head, Mr. Kamal Basu said that the safety of its customers is one of its core priority; and to enlighten people on the safe driving has been of utmost importance. The Drink and drive campaign is company’s step to take the safe driving campaign a notch higher and ensure the safety of its customers, without them missing out the fun element. Also the company has recently increased its hatchback Fabia’s line up with the introduction of a new variant, Skoda Fabia Scout. Skoda Fabia Scout trim comes with class leading features with value for money proposition and exemplary spacious interiors in the B+ hatchback segment.
This version of Fabia comes with both petrol and diesel fuel options. Skoda Fabia Scout 1.2L MPi mated with 3 cylinders and five speed manual transmission gearbox churns out 75 Bhp of peak power at 5400 rpm with 110 Nm torque at 3750 rpm. The petrol Skoda Fabia Scout gives a mileage of 13.5 kmpl on city roads , and 17.5 kmpl on highways. Skoda Fabia Scout 1.2L turbocharged diesel engine hatchback comes with an engine displacement of 1199 cc. The engine comes mated with five-speed manual transmission gearbox along with 3 cylinders. The 1.2L TDi engine churns out 75 Bhp power at 4200 rpm with 180 Nm torque at 2000 rpm. The hatchback can give you a 15.5 kmpl mileage in cities with a 19.5 kmpl mileage on highways.
