Up front, the new Rolls Royce Phantom Series II will have new LED headlights which will add to the regal aura of the car. The new grille, unlike the older one which used three pieces of stainless steel, is made with one single stainless steel piece. The front bumper as well gets a re-design along with a new rear bumper. The car will run on 21inch wheels; painted, part-polished or polished. Inside, there are a few changes as well which include updated dashboard, a larger LCD screen for multi-information display and BMW’s iDrive system along with a few other enhancements. In the cabin one can see a great blend of wood, chrome and leather. The rear seats have been elevated by 18mm.

Under the hood, the super luxury car will be powered by the usual naturally aspirated, hand assembled 6.75-litre V12 engine which churns out 453bhp at 5350rpm. It can accelerate from 0-60mph (0-96kmph) in about 5.7 seconds. Now this celebrated powertrain will be mated to a new 8-speed automatic ZF gearbox resulting to a 10% improvement in the fuel economy.

The Phantom Series II will make its debut in Mumbai in the presence of Herfried Hasenoehrl, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars General Manager – Emerging Markets Asia and Hal Serudin, Corporate Communications Manager, Asia-Pacific, along with Director, Sales & Marketing, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Mumbai, Sharad Kachalia. This Phantom version is said to be the best ones out of the Phantom family to drive.
