Nissan Patrol

Nissan will be a decent presenter at the Auto Expo 2016, NO, it actually will be a rather ferocious one. Visit their stall at the Arena and you will find the GT-R parked there, better known as the Godzilla. Alongside it is expected that the all-new X-Trail and Nissan Patrol will make their appearance. It is well known that the manufacturer is struggling to make its current lineup work for India, as none of its current cars are living up to the mark, reason? They’ve become dated now. However, with the advent of GT-R in India the company plans to boost its image in front of both the enthusiasts and the buyers. Here’s a glimpse of the vehicles that Nissan will showcase in Noida.

The GT-R

The Godzilla will impress enthusiasts with its superb performance, thanks to the 3.8-litre V6 that is bound to produce 545 bhp of power. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed automatic, which sends the power to the agile all-wheel drive system. Let alone the supercar performance, the way the GT-R looks will stun a lot of people. When launched, the car is expected to be priced over the 2 crore mark. Moreover, it is as practical as a sedan, the 2-door supercar can seat four people and can take in a handsome amount of luggage in the boot.

The X-Trail

Nissan discontinued the X-Trail back in 2014 because of sloppy sales, but they will launch the X-Trail again to keep the spirit high of the off-roading enthusiasts and themselves. The 5-seater SUV will be brought back at a price tag that’ll be around INR 25 lacs mark, courtesy to the CBU route, which will result in an escalated price. Powering the SUV is the 2.0 DCi diesel motor that will be tuned for optimum performance on the road and off the road. The AWD setup will help it match and excel the same level of performance as that of the outgone vehicle.

The Patrol

Nissan is well respected around the globe for making SUVs and its flagship bruiser, the Patrol. This utility vehicle is one of the major reasons for that respect. Patrol competes against the likes of Audi Q7, Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes-Benz GL and so on. Feature-wise, it will exhibit the latest infotainment/navigation system, terrain monitoring system, adjustable suspensions and more.

The Kick Concept

The manufacturer’s dream of bringing a global compact SUV relies on this very concept. It has been showcased at two auto shows namely, the 2014 São Paulo Motor Show and the 2015 Buenos Aires Motor Show, which resulted in it receiving a lot of praises. Owing to this there’s a possibility that Nissan might bring this car to the Auto Expo.
