Nano’s insurance by five cos
Nano can be insured by top five insurance firms. Tata Motors tied up with five insurance companies National Insurance, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, Royal Sundaram Alliance, United India Insurance and HDFC Ergo General Insurance. The premium would be 2.76 per cent of the ex-showroom price of the car. For the base model, the insurance premium would work out to be Rs 3,468 (New Delhi-ex showroom price Rs 1,23,360), for the intermediate model Rs 3,959 (Rs 1,48,360) and Rs 4,431 for the high-end model (Rs 1,72,360).
