Mini rolled in the world’s first Sports Activity Coupe, Mini Paceman. This new model is the 7th model in the brand which offers sporty design along with exclusive and very quality high interiors. The new Mini Paceman is said to deliver a go-karting feel on the road along with an enhanced versatility through the optional all-wheel drive. Sports Activity Vehicle is basically a marketing term used by BMW to describe vehicles which traditionally fell in the crossover Sport Utility Vehicle segment.

From the outside, the hexagonal radiator grille with chrome surround gives the new Paceman a powerful presence. All usual Mini design features are present along with the coupe styled stretched side profile with long doors and downward sloping roofline etc. The sporty look of the Mini Paceman is further enhanced with the muscular flared wheel arches. And for the first time we’ll see rear lights in a horizontal arrangement.

The interior design of the Mini Paceman also has typical Mini feel to it. The instrument panel comes with new designed surrounds for the air vents along with the circular centre Speedo. The seats, undoubtedly and obviously have unmatchable comfort level with generous head and shoulder room. The front seat backrests have cut-outs that help optimize the legroom.

The Mini Paceman comes with two petrol and two diesel options which deliver a power output spread out, from 112bhp – 184bhp the Mini John Cooper Works Paceman version is soon to come as well. The variants come with a 6-speed manual gearbox along with an optional six-speed automatic gearbox. All-wheel drive is available for Mini Cooper S Paceman, Mini Cooper SD Paceman and Mini Cooper D Paceman.

Mini Paceman comes with outstanding occupant protection provided by crash-optimised body structure along with an extensive range of safety equipment which include the front and side airbags, side curtain airbags, belt tensioners and belt force limiters at the front, three-point inertia-reel seat belts on all seats, ISOFIX child seat attachments in the rear and a run-flat indicator fitted. These features comes as a standard.
