Mercedes mulls to bring BMW X6 competitor
Mercedes Benz is extending its chain of SUVs with a new BMW X6 rivaling model called the Mercedes Benz GLS. It is scheduled to be launched in 2014. This new four seater SUV has the same characteristic features that are attributed to third-generation Mercedes Benz M Class. Mercedes Benz M Class Price in India starts from Rs 53,50,000 to Rs 60,90,000 (Ex-Showroom Price in New Delhi).

As per the recent sales statistics there is a huge potential for an off-road model with a more sporting emphasis than the new Mercedes M-class models. It is expected that the GLS will forfeit the practicality of the five-seater M-class for a more sporting four-seater interior, with a racier roof lin and styling cues from the CLS saloon.
