Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Launched at Rs. 5.99 lac

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelifit has been launched at Rs. 5.99 lac, ex-showroom Delhi. Prior to India, the Japanese automaker had showcased the facelifted model at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in August this year. Off lately, Ertiga has witnessed tough competition from new entrants in the segment - Honda Mobilio and Renault Lodgy while Toyota Innova continues to be the sales king. To make it more competitive, Maruti is introducing Ertiga with mechanical, aesthetic and feature upgrade. SHVS option will be standard with the DDiS 200 (diesel) engine variants, and is borrowed from the Ciaz.

SHVS boosts fuel efficiency of the DDiS 200 by 18% to 24.52 kmpl. The petrol K14B engine has also been reworked and now offers 17.5 kmpl which is up by 9% from before. The Suzuki SHVS comes with engine start-stop system along with brake energy regeneration. Speaking of the engines, diesel will be DDiS200 - 90PS/200 Nm while petrol will be K14B 95PS/130Nm. Diesel and petrol will continue with the 5-speed manual transmission and a four-speed automatic gearbox. In terms of feature upgrades, Ertiga gets Suzuki’s 7-inch SmartPlay infotainment system, passive keyless entry with engine push-button start-stop, 50:50 third-row split, new upholstery, etc.
