Mahindra BE 6 Mid-spec Pack Two Variant Explained In 12 Real-life Images

The Mahindra BE 6 is one the latest all-electric offerings in Mahindra’s electric lineup. Recently, the carmaker updated its one-above-base ‘Pack Two’ variant by introducing the option of a larger 79 kWh battery pack. It has also commenced deliveries of this mid-spec variant. And if you’re someone planning to bring one home, here’s a look at how the Pack Two variant of the BE 6 looks in 12 real-life images.

Front

It doesn’t look too far off compared to its higher-spec counterpart. Up front, it gets LED DRLs and dual-pod LED projector headlights, however the DRLs are not in C-shape as seen on the Pack Three variant. There’s an illuminated ‘BE’ logo in the middle of the hood, while it also gets cornering fog lamps and a silver-finished skid plate. 

Side

In profile, the BE 6 features a coupe-style roofline that enhances its overall appeal. It gets chunky wheel arches and thick body cladding for a sportier look. There’s ‘Pack Two’ branding along with a QR code on the fender. The front doors come with flush-type door handles, while the rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar. The turn indicators are mounted on the ORVMs (outside rear-view mirrors).

But there’s a difference and that’s the wheels. The mid-spec Pack Two variant of the Mahindra BE 6 rides on 19-inch steel wheels with stylised covers instead of the alloys found in higher variants. 

Rear

At the rear, you get C-shaped LED tail lights along with Mahindra’s new ‘infinity’ logo on the tailgate. It also sports the ‘BE 6’ branding on the tailgate and a sporty spoiler, along with a chunky silver-finished skid plate. 

Cabin

Inside, the Pack Two variant of the Mahindra BE 6 gets the same jet-cockpit inspired cabin layout as seen on its top-spec variant. The highlights is its 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated ‘BE’ logo and a propeller-like gear shifter. It also features dual 12.3-inch screens (one for the infotainment and the other for the digital driver’s display).

Other features on board the Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two includes 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, fixed panoramic glass roof, dual-zone AC with rear vents, and a wireless phone charger. On the safety front, it gets 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, and level 2 advanced driver assistance systems including lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.

Please note that features such as powered driver’s seat, dual wireless phone chargers, blind view monitor, 360-degree camera, park assist, and one-touch auto-down driver’s side window is limited to the higher-spec Pack Three Select variant. Also, multi-colour ambient lighting and additional ADAS features such as auto-lane change, lane centering and emergency steering assist, as well as front and rear cross traffic alert are limited to the top of the line Pack Three variant. 

The seats inside the Pack Two variant of the BE 6 are upholstered in semi-leatherette with a dual-tone shade.

The Pack Two is the only variant of the Mahindra BE 6 which comes with both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options:

Price Range And Rivals

The prices for the Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two range between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 23.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It takes on the likes of the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
