India bound 2012 Toyota Camry will make its debut at the 2012 Auto Expo show, the premium sedan along with India will also be launched in other auto markets. 2012 Toyota Camry will be available with a dash of higher dose of chrome that is specifically made for India. However, the leaked images of the 2012 Toyota Camry manufactured for the North America had already been making rounds. The new Toyota Camry exterior comes with sharper and edgy looks to replace the previous rounded looks of the older Toyota Camry model and are believed to have been borrowed from the Honda Accord. The new generation Toyota Camry, however continues to come with the same wheelbase as that of the older model. Toyota boasts that the upgraded Toyota Motors parts are believed to have undergone 90 % of the changes, making the 2012 Toyota Camry an all-new car.

As for 2012 Toyota Camry specifications, the sedan is likely to house a 2.5 liter dual VVT-i four cylinder petrol engine that keeps the capacity to produce 180 Bhp and a peak torque of 231 Nm. The new Toyota Camry is hoped to come equipped with a six speed automatic gearbox to replace the current 5 speed automatic gearbox that is installed in the current model and now comes with the roomier rear seat.

The drawback that is seen so far with the 2012 Toyota Camry is that it is going to be introduced in a petrol variant alone and not considering the diesel option.
