    Hyundai India to Launch Creta on July 21, 2015!

    Hyundai India will launch the anticipated Creta next month on 21st, reportedly, the Korean maker has advanced the launch of the crossover couple of month to cash out on the coming festive season. Moreover, the production of the baby Santa-Fe will start this month around June 20. Moreover, bookings of the same are also expected to start by early July. Speaking of its rivals, the compact SUV will pitch against Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Ford EcoSport along with Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Safari Storme, and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S Cross (which is also reportedly coming next month).

    Hyundai is saying that Creta will make its global debut in India, however, it is based on the ix25 which Hyundai has already launched exclusively in China last year. Apart from the name, Creta will be similar to the ix25. So technically, Hyundai is referring the car with a new name that will make its global debut in India and will later launch in other markets including Europe.

    Likely, there will be three engine options for the Creta, all motors are borrowed from the Verna - 1.6-liter and 1.4 CRDi and 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol. The SUV will feature 6-speed manual for diesel and 5-speed manual for petrol while 6-speed automatic is also expected on both the fuel options. Moreover, Hyundai is hoping to sell around 4-5K units monthly while prices are expected to be in the vicinity of Renault Duster.
