Hyundai Eon, Ford EcoSport to be launched in Nepal
Who doesn’t know that Indian car market is the most flourishing and thriving car markets around the globe and it has gradually became the most favorite retreat for the global automakers. It has been successful in luring numerous carmakers to India, which in turn have been beneficial to the Indian customers as they are offered with more choices in each car segment. Apart from the advantages provided to Indian customers, the neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Nepal are also hoping to see these car brands. Of late, Tata Motors introduced their small car Tata Nano and Tata Indica Vista in Nepal car market, now it is time for Ford and Hyundai.

Hyundai India is all ready and is planning to launch is latest compact hatchback, Hyundai Eon in Nepal. However, the exact date of launch hasn’t been finalized as yet, but hopefully Hyundai Eon will hit the Nepal roads by the end of February. Hyundai Eon will be available in Nepal via Laxmi intercontinental private limited, who is an authorized dealer of Hyundai cars in Nepal. As per the fresh reports, Hyundai Eon will be launched in 4 variants, namely D-Lite, Era Plus, Sportz and D-Lite Plus in Nepal car market. Also this compact hatchback car will directly battle it out with Chevrolet QQ3, Perodua Viva and Maruti Suzuki Alto.

Apart from Hyundai Eon, Ford is also planning to bring in its crossover SUV, Ford EcoSport to Nepal by the end of this year. Ford EcoSport compact SUV was showcased at the 11th Auto Expo that took place in early January 2012 in New Delhi. Ford EcoSport SUV will be launched in Nepal through GO Automobiles, who are the certified distributors for Ford vehicles in the country. Under the hood, Ford EcoSport compact SUV will come with 1.6 litre petrol engine that would be coupled with five speed manual gearbox. Furthermore, Ford EcoSport is likely to carry a price tag of around 4 million Nepal Rupees.
